পুরান ঢাকার লায়ন সিনেমাসে সালমান শাহ স্মরণে সপ্তাহব্যাপী চলচ্চিত্র উৎসব

পুরান ঢাকাভিত্তিক মাল্টিপ্লেক্স লায়ন সিনেমাস প্রয়াত চিত্রনায়ক সালমান শাহকে স্মরণ করে শুরু করেছে বিশেষ সপ্তাহব্যাপী চলচ্চিত্র উৎসব।
“ফিরে দেখি সালমান শাহ” শিরোনামের এই আয়োজন নব্বই দশকের নস্টালজিয়া আবার ফিরিয়ে এনেছে রুপালি পর্দায়।
এই বিশেষ উৎসবে প্রদর্শিত হচ্ছে সালমান শাহ অভিনীত তিনটি ব্যবসাসফল চলচ্চিত্র। সিনেমাগুলো হলো—

🎬 অন্তরে অন্তরে (পরিচালনা: শিবলী সাদিক)
🎬 সত্যের মৃত্যু নেই (পরিচালনা: ছটকু আহমেদ)
আয়োজকদের জানানো মতে, এই বিশেষ প্রদর্শনী চলবে ২৯ জানুয়ারি পর্যন্ত। দর্শকদের কথা বিবেচনায় প্রতিদিন দুটি করে শো নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে।
লায়ন সিনেমাস কর্তৃপক্ষ এক বিবৃতিতে জানায়, সালমান শাহ শুধু একজন জনপ্রিয় নায়কই ছিলেন না, তিনি ছিলেন একটি প্রজন্মের ফ্যাশন, চিন্তাধারা ও সংস্কৃতির প্রতীক। প্রায় তিন দশক আগে অকালপ্রয়াণ ঘটলেও আজও তার চলচ্চিত্র দর্শকদের হলে টানে, যার প্রমাণ এই ধরনের রেট্রো উৎসবের নিয়মিত আয়োজন।

Lion Cinemas Hosts Week-Long Salman Shah Film Festival in Old Dhaka

Old Dhaka-based multiplex Lion Cinemas has launched a special week-long film festival in memory of legendary Bangladeshi actor Salman Shah, reviving 1990s nostalgia on the silver screen.
Titled “Fire Dekhi Salman Shah”, the initiative showcases three of the actor’s most commercially successful films. The lineup includes Shopner Prithibi directed by Badol Khondoker, Ontore Ontore by Shibli Sadik, and Sotter Mrittu Nei by Chhatku Ahmed.
According to the organisers, the special screenings will continue until January 29, with two shows scheduled daily to accommodate audiences.
In an official statement, cinema authorities noted that Salman Shah was not merely a box-office sensation but a cultural icon who shaped the fashion and sensibilities of an entire generation. Nearly three decades after his untimely death, his films continue to draw audiences, prompting theatres to regularly organise retrospective events in his honour.
