যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের একাধিক অঙ্গরাজ্যে তীব্র তুষারঝড় আঘাত হেনেছে। ভারী তুষারপাত, প্রচণ্ড শীত ও দমকা হাওয়ার কারণে এখন পর্যন্ত ৩০ জনের প্রাণহানি ঘটেছে বলে স্থানীয় কর্তৃপক্ষ জানিয়েছে। ভয়াবহ এই শীতকালীন ঝড়ে জনজীবন মারাত্মকভাবে ব্যাহত হয়েছে।
