দক্ষিণখানে গ্যাস সংকট ও অতিরিক্ত দামের প্রতিবাদে শান্তিপূর্ণ মানববন্ধন
দক্ষিণখান এলাকায় গ্যাস সিলিন্ডারের কৃত্রিম সংকট, অতিরিক্ত মূল্য আদায় ও ডিলার সিন্ডিকেটের বিরুদ্ধে শান্তিপূর্ণ মানববন্ধন কর্মসূচি পালন করেছেন এলাকাবাসী। কর্মসূচিটি দক্ষিণ খান এল কে প্লাজা ও গাওয়াইর এম এম কমিউনিটি সেন্টারের সামনে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
মানববন্ধনে বক্তারা বলেন, সামনে রমজান মাস—এই সংকট অব্যাহত থাকলে সাধারণ মানুষের ভোগান্তি আরও বাড়বে। আন্দোলনকারীরা সোমবারের মধ্যে সংকট নিরসনের দাবি জানিয়ে তা না হলে আইনগত ও প্রশাসনিক পদক্ষেপ নেওয়ার ঘোষণা দেন।
মানববন্ধনে ঢাকা–১৮ আসনের এমপি পদপ্রার্থী আরিফুল ইসলাম ও সাবেক জামায়াত প্রার্থী আশরাফুল হক সংহতি প্রকাশ করেন। আয়োজনে এলাকাবাসী, সহযোগিতায় দক্ষিণখান যুব সংঘ।
Peaceful Protest Held in South Khank Over Gas Cylinder Crisis
Residents of South Khank staged a peaceful human chain protest against the artificial gas cylinder shortage and overpricing by dealer syndicates. The program was held in front of LK Plaza and Gawair MM Community Center.
Protesters warned that the crisis could worsen ahead of Ramadan and issued a deadline until Monday to resolve the issue, otherwise legal and administrative action will be taken. MP candidate for Dhaka-18 Ariful Islam and former Jamaat candidate Ashraful Haque expressed solidarity with the protest.
