এই তথ্য প্রকাশ করেছে ট্রান্সপারেন্সি ইন্টারন্যাশনাল বাংলাদেশ (টিআইবি)। ধানমন্ডিতে মঙ্গলবার (১০ ফেব্রুয়ারি) এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে টিআইবি নির্বাহী পরিচালক ইফতেখারুজ্জামান ‘দুর্নীতির ধারণা সূচক (CPI) ২০২৫’ এর বিস্তারিত তুলে ধরেন।
বাংলাদেশের এই অবস্থান সামাজিক ও রাজনৈতিক পর্যায়ে সতর্কতার ইঙ্গিত দিচ্ছে।
Bangladesh has been ranked 13th among the most corrupt countries in the world in 2025. Out of 182 countries, the country scored 24 on a scale of 0–100, below the global average of 42. Although Bangladesh’s score increased by 1 point compared to last year, its overall ranking dropped by one position.
The findings were released by Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) at a press conference in Dhaka’s Dhanmondi on Tuesday (February 10), where TIB Executive Director Iftekharuzzaman presented the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) 2025.
This ranking highlights the need for stronger governance and anti-corruption measures in Bangladesh.
