দীর্ঘ প্রতীক্ষার পর গাজা ও মিশরের মধ্যকার অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ রাফা সীমান্ত পারাপার এলাকা আগামী রোববার থেকে পুনরায় খুলে দেওয়া হবে। এই তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছে ইসরায়েল।
শুক্রবার গাজার বেসামরিক নীতি সমন্বয়কারী ইসরায়েলি সরকারি সংস্থা COGAT (Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories এক ঘোষণায় জানায়, রাফা ক্রসিং খুলে দেওয়ার মাধ্যমে গাজা ও মিশরের মধ্যে সাধারণ মানুষের যাতায়াত আবার শুরু হবে।
রাফা সীমান্ত দীর্ঘদিন বন্ধ থাকায় চিকিৎসা, শিক্ষা ও জরুরি মানবিক প্রয়োজনে চরম ভোগান্তির মুখে পড়ে গাজার সাধারণ জনগণ। সীমান্ত পুনরায় চালু হওয়ায় আহত রোগী, শিক্ষার্থী এবং বিদেশে অবস্থানরত পরিবারগুলোর জন্য বড় ধরনের স্বস্তি ফিরে আসবে বলে মনে করছেন বিশ্লেষকরা।
মানবিক সহায়তা প্রবেশ ও নাগরিক চলাচল সহজ করতে এই সিদ্ধান্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে বলে ধারণা করা হচ্ছে।

The strategically vital Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt will reopen starting Sunday, according to an official announcement by Israel.
On Friday, Israel’s governmental body COGAT (Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories) confirmed that the crossing will be opened to allow the movement of people between Gaza and Egypt.
The Rafah crossing has remained closed for an extended period, causing severe hardship for Gaza residents, particularly those seeking medical treatment, education, and humanitarian assistance abroad. The reopening is expected to bring significant relief to civilians affected by the ongoing crisis.
Observers say the decision could ease humanitarian pressure and improve civilian mobility in the region.
