৯ম পে-স্কেলের গেজেট প্রকাশের দাবিতে সরকারি কর্মচারীদের সমাবেশ
নবম জাতীয় বেতন কমিশনের প্রতিবেদনের আলোকে ৯ম পে-স্কেলের গেজেট প্রকাশ ও দ্রুত বাস্তবায়নের দাবিতে সমাবেশ করেছেন সরকারি কর্মচারীরা। রাজধানীসহ দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে আয়োজিত এই কর্মসূচিতে বিভিন্ন দপ্তরের কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীরা অংশ নেন।
সমাবেশে বক্তারা বলেন, নবম জাতীয় বেতন কমিশন দীর্ঘদিন আগে তাদের প্রতিবেদন জমা দিলেও এখনো ৯ম পে-স্কেল কার্যকর হয়নি, যা সরকারি কর্মচারীদের মধ্যে চরম হতাশা সৃষ্টি করেছে। বর্তমান মূল্যস্ফীতি ও জীবনযাত্রার ব্যয় বিবেচনায় নতুন পে-স্কেল বাস্তবায়ন এখন সময়ের দাবি।
কর্মচারী নেতারা হুঁশিয়ারি দিয়ে বলেন, নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের মধ্যে গেজেট প্রকাশ না হলে আগামী দিনে আরও কঠোর কর্মসূচি ঘোষণা করা হবে। তারা দাবি করেন, বেতন কাঠামোর বৈষম্য দূর করে সম্মানজনক জীবনযাত্রা নিশ্চিত করতে সরকারকে দ্রুত সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে হবে।
সমাবেশ শেষে সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করে একটি স্মারকলিপি প্রদানের ঘোষণা দেওয়া হয়।
Protest held seeking immediate implementation of the 9th National Pay Commission recommendations
Government employees staged a rally demanding the publication and implementation of the 9th Pay Scale gazette, based on the recommendations of the 9th National Pay Commission.
The demonstration, held in the capital and other parts of the country, saw participation from officials and staff of various government departments. Speakers at the rally expressed frustration over the delay, stating that despite the submission of the commission’s report, the 9th pay scale has yet to be enforced.
They emphasized that rising inflation and increasing living costs have made the new pay structure an urgent necessity. Employee leaders warned that if the government fails to act promptly, stricter protest programs will be announced in the coming days.
The rally concluded with an announcement to submit a memorandum to the concerned authorities, urging swift action to ensure fair wages and improved living standards for government employees.
