কুষ্টিয়ায় এক জনসভায় জামায়াতে ইসলামীর আমির অভিযোগ করে বলেছেন, বাংলাদেশে রাজনৈতিক মামলাকে একটি ‘ব্যবসা’তে পরিণত করা হয়েছে। তিনি দাবি করেন, ২০২৪ সালের আগস্টের পর থেকে শত শত নিরীহ মানুষকে মিথ্যা মামলায় জড়ানো হয়েছে।
জামায়াত আমির বলেন, “মামলা এখন আর ন্যায়বিচারের হাতিয়ার নয়, এটি প্রতিহিংসার অস্ত্রে পরিণত হয়েছে। রাজনৈতিক মত ভিন্ন হলেই মামলা দিয়ে হয়রানি করা হচ্ছে।”
তিনি আরও অভিযোগ করেন, এসব মিথ্যা মামলার কারণে সাধারণ মানুষ আতঙ্কের মধ্যে দিন কাটাচ্ছে এবং বিচার ব্যবস্থার উপর জনগণের আস্থা মারাত্মকভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হচ্ছে।
সভায় উপস্থিত নেতাকর্মীরা দ্রুত মিথ্যা মামলা প্রত্যাহার, নিরপেক্ষ তদন্ত এবং আইনের শাসন নিশ্চিত করার দাবি জানান।
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer has alleged that legal cases in Bangladesh have been turned into a business, claiming that hundreds of people have been falsely implicated since August 2024.
Speaking at a public gathering in Kushtia, the Jamaat chief said, “Cases are no longer instruments of justice. They are being used as tools of political harassment and intimidation.”
He warned that widespread false cases are creating fear among citizens and severely undermining public trust in the justice system.
Party leaders at the event demanded the withdrawal of fabricated cases, impartial investigations, and the restoration of the rule of law.
The remarks have sparked renewed debate over political persecution, misuse of legal processes, and human rights concerns in Bangladesh.
